Overall Purpose: Bridges business strategy and technology execution – ensuring that technology meets the needs of the business and overall company strategic goals. 


Key Roles and Responsibilities: Typical tasks may include, but are not limited to, the following:
• Strategic Alignment and Prioritization - Ensuring technology solutions align/supports business goals and priorities.  

• Translation & integration – Translate business needs into functional, non-functional, and operational requirements that IT teams can deliver

• Execution Partnership – Work with cross functional teams to drive delivery readiness.

• Value Realization – Measure, validate, and communicate the business impact (during ideation of roadmaps, sequencing, delivery and enablement of capabilities/features).

• Continuous improvement – Identify experience gaps and innovation opportunities to improve business outcomes.

• Coordinate Cross-Functional Teams: Define strategy, technology roadmaps, and business cases for delivery of new technology, innovation and enhancements, including products, offers, and promotions.
• Customer Advocacy and Expertise: Serve as the voice of the customer, providing subject matter expertise on marketing technology platforms, CX solutions, billing systems, and other technical applications.
• Technical Project Leadership: Lead technical projects using Agile methodology, including prioritization, planning, execution, use of standard Agile tools, Epic creation, and User Story development.
• Development and Testing: Define requirements, document, create user stories, execute test cases, debug applications, and interact with users for system requirements and modifications.
• Training and Support: Provide training and support to channel operations teams.


Job Contribution: An expert in their field, applying broad business knowledge and strategic insight surrounding emerging trends and technologies to solve complex problems and drive organizational results. Leads critical, high-impact projects and designs/implements innovative business strategies. Works with minimal oversight, frequently consulting senior leadership and influencing executive decisions. Serves as a mentor and assists others with challenging issues.

Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) desired. 7+ years of related experience. Certification is required in some areas.

Our Principal Product Technology earns between $158,200 - $237,400 USD Annual. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
