What You'll Do:
As a member of Mobility organization, you will play a key part in protecting our business’ applications and infrastructure. Your primary focus will be reviewing vulnerabilities on Linux servers, VMs, and containers, assessing technical risks, and collaborating with both security and platform teams to strengthen our security posture. This position is ideal for someone who is eager to learn, passionate about technology, and motivated to solve complex problems with integrity and innovation. You’ll have the opportunity to develop your technical skills in a supportive, growth-oriented environment while making a real impact on our cyber security efforts.
What You'll Bring:
- Review vulnerabilities on Linux servers, virtual machines (VMs), and containers using industry-standard tools.
- Assess the technical risk associated with identified vulnerabilities and prioritize remediation efforts.
- Collaborate with security teams to analyze threats and implement effective security controls.
- Work closely with platform teams to maintain and improve the overall security posture of applications and infrastructure.
- Document findings, recommendations, and remediation steps for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Stay up to date on the latest cyber security trends, vulnerabilities, and best practices.
What You Will Need:
- Familiarity with Linux operating systems and basic networking concepts.
- Experience or coursework with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
- Ability to write and understand scripts in languages such as Bash or Python.
- Working knowledge of databases, including MySQL and MongoDB.
- Basic understanding of vulnerability scanning tools and techniques.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication abilities.
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and an innovative mindset.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.

Our Sr Specialist Member of Technical Staff, earns between $122,000-$183,000 USD Annual Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
