Who we are:
The El Paso Construction and Engineering team is responsible for design engineering, placing various AT&T facilities including fiber optic cable, copper cable, and various construction materials in support of AT&T services. Our team is also responsible for optimizing AT&T facilities to deliver the best possible product to our customer base. In addition to placing new AT&T facilities the El Paso C&E team is responsible for maintaining the current AT&T infrastructure and repairing any damages that may occur in the timeliest manner possible.
What you’ll do:
The primary role of the Senior Specialist Construction and Engineering is to assign projects to our strategic vendor, track project progression, and direct vendors when applicable. The Senior Specialist Construction and Engineering is also responsible for ordering, inventorying, and organization of all materials related to projects as well as overseeing their utilization with our vendors. The role requires a rotation of on call duty in which manager would be responsible for answering call outs in emergency situations to dispatch technicians, coordinate construction vendors, and report on emergency to proper personnel. Position will require applicant to speak with coordinate with outside third-party vendors/customers, or various government municipalities. Applicants for this position will be required to complete annual trainings as assigned by AT&T.
What you’ll need to bring:
- At least 3-5 years of network related technical experience.
- Working knowledge of Excel, Outlook, basic computer skills.
- Must be physically able to operate a motor vehicle, and work in various weather conditions, such as wind, rain, extreme heat and extreme cold.
- Must possess the ability sit for long periods of time and could be required to view computer screens for long periods of time.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
- Advanced computer skills, excellent organizational skills
Our Senior Specialist Construction & Engineering, earns between $77,800-$116,800 USD Annual Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
