What You'll Do:
The Lead Member of Technical Staff (LMTS) will work on the development of innovative network and software products for AT&T’s IP network in close collaboration with network engineers, system architects, and software engineers. This role involves applying advanced technologies — including artificial intelligence and data analytics — to drive network and technology transformation initiatives. Additionally, the LMTS will conduct research on emerging technology trends and leverage these insights to address complex challenges in network systems development.
What You'll Bring:
- Leverage AI and data analytics to drive the transformation and development of network OSS systems.
- Research on industry trends in data analytics, AI, software development and IP networking, and integrate emerging technologies into network OSS products. Architect, design, and develop innovative network OSS products in close collaboration with network engineers and system architects.
- Lead a team of technical professionals in network OSS transformation projects, providing guidance to ensure successful delivery of network OSS products.
What You'll Need:
- Five years of experience in the technology domain, with a primary focus on data analytics, AI, cloud technologies, databases, and software development.
- A bachelor’s degree (BS) in computer science, data analytics, or a related field is required.
- The candidate must have hands-on expertise in mainstream programming languages (Python, Java, JavaScript etc.) and associated technologies, public cloud platforms (Azure, AWS or GCP), Databases (Oracle, MySQL etc.) and container technologies (Kubernetes, Docker etc.).
- Proficiency with modern development tools, like GitHub and CoPilot, is essential. Experience in developing solutions using AI technologies, including Agentic AI solutions, is highly desirable.
- This role also demands comprehensive product development experience across the full lifecycle — from conceptualization and requirements gathering to architecture, design, deployment, and support. Strong communication skills are essential.
Our Lead Member of Technical Staff, earns between $171,600-$257,400 USD Annual Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
