What You'll Do:
The Principal Member of Technical Staff (PMTS) is a senior-level technical expert responsible for delivering complex projects and driving innovation. This role requires deep understanding of Network OSS (Operations Support Systems) with an ability to work in a dynamic environment with aggressive timelines while keeping security a top priority.
What You'll Need:
- Lead design of scalable & secure systems supporting strategic Network Systems transformation initiatives.
- Development and integration of advanced technical solutions in cloud platforms, leveraging Artificial Intelligence.
- Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) in core technologies and platforms, advising teams across the organization. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement technology strategies.
What You’ll Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree with 18+ years, Master’s with 16+ years, or PhD with 14+ years of relevant experience in a STEM field.
- Proven track record of delivering impactful technical solutions and leading large-scale projects.
- Strong analytical mindset with experience in Gen AI, horizontal systems, and emerging technologies
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence across levels.
Our Principal Member of Technical Staff earns between $180,200-$270,400 USD Annual. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.

Environmental Requirements:
This position may be responsible for contributing to AT&T compliance with environmental laws and regulations as applicable to its job function. This may include, but is not limited to, work related to fuel tanks, emergency and stand-by generators, boilers, hazardous waste, hazardous materials, batteries, manholes and vaults, water wells, linear and other construction projects, water discharge, or air emissions.
