JOB TITLE: Sr Specialist Member of Technical Staff
JOB LOCATION: 200 S Laurel Ave Bldg A, Floor 004, Middletown NJ 07748 [Hybrid position]
DUTIES: Participate in sprint planning and design discussions with the development team to ensure automation is designed and implemented meeting client’s requirements. Develop expertise in the Automated Network Testing (ANT) platform and become an advocate for its use in both a lab and production environment. Improve productivity for the overall team by proposing tools or processes that optimize our quality and rate of delivery. Provide analysis of automation intake request requirements and test details to determine the most appropriate approach in which to perform the required validations. Build close collaboration with network system engineers to create a detailed test design using ANT and adjacent tools portfolio of mobility traffic simulators, scripting and real device automation. Drive for clarity in requirements, test steps and required validations for use during automation development. Create End-to-End (E2) test cases and post-validation templates using ANT. Create Command-Line-Interface (CLI) test case template health checks using ANT and regular expressions. Expand on existing Python validation libraries within ANT for new and emerging use cases. Collaborate with platform teams, testers and infrastructure teams to troubleshoot automation, tooling and mobility infrastructure networks. Participate in script lifecycle management, development, delivery, deployment, updates, defect management.
REQUIREMENTS: Requires a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent degree, in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Technology and Four (4) years of experience in the job offered, or Four (4) years of experience in a related occupation building close collaboration with network system engineers to create a detailed test design using ANT and adjacent tools portfolio of mobility traffic simulators, scripting and real device automation; creating End-to-End (E2) test cases and post-validation templates using ANT; creating Command-Line-Interface (CLI) test case template health checks using ANT and regular expressions; expanding on existing Python validation libraries within ANT for new and emerging use cases; and collaborating with platform teams, testers and infrastructure teams to troubleshoot automation, tooling and mobility infrastructure networks.
